About Tall Grass Windows & Doors

My Business partner Bill and I wanted to start a company that combines supply with design and 40 years experience in building and product knowledge to give customers an exceptional experience. I believe in giving back to the community you work in. I volunteer as a Scout Leader, Junior Achievement Teacher, Board Member for Camp Bromelsick (serving the youth of Douglas County, Kansas), and as a member of the Douglas County Emergency Management team. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my favorite teams K-State, Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting! Spend a lot of time outdoors.

Bill knows windows and doors inside and out, and he knows the construction side of their installation. To understand Bill’s passion for his work you have to go back to his first job…pulling nails out of boards for the next-door neighbor for a penny apiece. From there, his path forward started to form. By the time he was in high school, he was working for a local carpenter and after graduation he was a co-owner in a construction business. After that company closed, he decided to check out some other industries, but soon found his way to being the superintendent for a light commercial contractor. Bill has been in the business of selling windows and doors for over 30 years now. Eight years ago, he became co-owner and President of Tall Grass Windows. During his time in the millwork industry, he has taken advantage of an array of classes and training and is an AMMA Certified installer. His knowledge of the industry is well respected by his peers and he is frequently one of their first calls to help them solve a problem. He believes strongly in helping people achieve their dreams.
